1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any tour, excursion, transfer, shore excursion, or related service offered by Dominican Cheap Tours ("the Company," "we," "us," "our"), you ("the Customer," "you," "your") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Dominican Cheap Tours.

If you are booking on behalf of a group or other individuals, you represent that you have the authority to accept these terms on their behalf, and that all members of your group are also bound by them.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not complete a booking or use our services.

2. Services Offered

Dominican Cheap Tours provides the following services in the Dominican Republic:

• Guided tours and excursions (Puerto Plata City Tour, 27 Waterfalls of Damajagua, Beach Day Pass, Horseback Riding, and others)
• Shore excursions for cruise passengers at Amber Cove and Taino Bay ports
• Private airport transfers (all major airports in the Dominican Republic)
• Custom and private group tours upon request

All services are subject to availability, weather conditions, park regulations, and these Terms and Conditions.

3. Booking and Payment

• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and issuance of a booking confirmation by Dominican Cheap Tours.
• We accept credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers via our secure checkout platform.
• All prices are stated in US Dollars (USD) unless explicitly noted otherwise.
• A booking confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to verify that the confirmation details (date, time, service, number of passengers, pickup location) are correct. Contact us immediately if you notice an error.
• Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed and paid in full.
• Dominican Cheap Tours reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its sole discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• 24+ hours before service: 100% full refund, processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
• Less than 24 hours before service: No refund. The full amount is forfeited.
• No-show: Non-refundable in all cases. See our No-Show Policy.

5. Health, Fitness and Age Requirements

Customers must disclose any medical conditions, physical limitations, pregnancy, or disabilities at the time of booking. Some activities have physical demands that may not be suitable for all participants.

• Damajagua 27 Waterfalls: Requires swimming ability and moderate physical fitness. Participants must be able to walk on uneven rocky terrain and jump from heights up to 8 meters. Not recommended for participants with heart conditions, back problems, or limited mobility. Minimum recommended age is 8 years; participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Horseback Riding: A maximum weight limit may apply depending on the horses available. Not recommended for pregnant participants.
• Beach Day Pass: Suitable for all ages. Participants with limited mobility should contact us in advance to arrange appropriate accommodation.
• Puerto Plata City Tour: Involves walking on cobblestone streets and climbing to Fortaleza San Felipe. Not recommended for participants with severe mobility limitations.
• All Tours: Participants with serious medical conditions should consult their physician before booking an active excursion.

Dominican Cheap Tours reserves the right to refuse participation to any customer whose health condition is deemed a safety risk to themselves or others, without a refund if the refusal occurs on the day of the activity.

6. Participant Conduct

• All participants must follow the instructions of guides, drivers, and park staff at all times.
• Disruptive, aggressive, intoxicated, or otherwise disrespectful behavior may result in removal from a tour without refund.
• Participants are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings. Dominican Cheap Tours is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items during tours or transfers.
• Participants must comply with all applicable Dominican Republic laws and park regulations.
• Any damage caused by a participant to vehicles, equipment, or third-party property may result in the participant being held financially responsible.

7. Tour Modifications by the Company

Dominican Cheap Tours reserves the right to modify tour itineraries, routes, schedules, or inclusions due to weather conditions, park regulations, road closures, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. When a significant modification is necessary:

• We will notify customers as soon as practically possible.
• We will offer an alternative arrangement of equal or greater value, or a full refund.
• Minor modifications (e.g., adjusted departure time, alternative stop sequence) do not constitute grounds for a refund.

8. Liability and Assumption of Risk

By booking with Dominican Cheap Tours, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Outdoor adventure activities carry inherent risks, including physical injury or accident.
• You participate in all activities voluntarily and at your own risk.
• Dominican Cheap Tours, its employees, guides, and agents are not liable for personal injury, illness, death, property damage, or financial loss resulting from participation in our services, except where such injury is caused directly by our proven negligence.
• The Company is not liable for acts of God, force majeure, third-party actions, or events outside our reasonable control.

9. Insurance

Dominican Cheap Tours maintains appropriate liability insurance for all licensed vehicles used in transfers. All guided excursions are operated with licensed guides who carry emergency protocols. However, the Company does not provide personal travel insurance for customers. We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical evacuation, and personal accident before traveling to the Dominican Republic.

10. Photography and Media

Dominican Cheap Tours may photograph or record video of activities and excursions for marketing and promotional purposes. By participating in our services, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your likeness in such materials. If you wish to opt out, notify your guide or driver before the service begins and we will respect your preference.

11. Alcohol and Substance Policy

The consumption of alcohol or controlled substances is not permitted during tour activities, on Company vehicles, or at pickup locations. Customers who appear intoxicated or under the influence of controlled substances at the time of service may be refused participation without refund. Dominican Cheap Tours reserves the right to make this determination at its sole discretion.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Dominican Cheap Tours website — including text, images, logos, videos, and tour descriptions — is the intellectual property of Dominican Cheap Tours or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

13. Force Majeure

Dominican Cheap Tours shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, hurricanes, earthquakes, government actions or restrictions, pandemics, civil unrest, strikes, utility failures, or acts of war. In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to offer an alternative date or a refund of the amounts we are able to recover.

14. Privacy

Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions. By booking with us, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

15. Amendments to These Terms

Dominican Cheap Tours reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms, or from any service provided by Dominican Cheap Tours, shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, to whose exclusive jurisdiction both parties agree to submit.
