Tours Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to all guided tours and excursions operated by Dominican Cheap Tours, including but not limited to:

To cancel, contact us through any of the following channels. Include your booking confirmation number and the name used at time of booking:

Cancellation requests sent outside of business hours (7:00 AM – 10:00 PM AST) will be processed at the start of the next business day. If your tour is within 24 hours of that processing time, the late cancellation policy will apply.

3. Rescheduling a Tour

If you need to change your tour date or time, you may request a reschedule free of charge, subject to availability, as long as the request is made at least 24 hours before the original tour start time.

• Rescheduling within 24 hours of the original tour start time is treated as a cancellation — no refund is issued.
• A rescheduled booking is subject to this same policy: if cancelled after rescheduling, the 24-hour rule applies to the new date.
• Reschedule requests are subject to guide and vehicle availability.

4. Third-Party & Park Entrance Fees

Some tours include mandatory third-party fees paid directly to parks or attractions. These fees are subject to their own refund policies, which are outside the control of Dominican Cheap Tours:

• Damajagua 27 Waterfalls: The national park entrance fee paid to park authorities is non-refundable once paid, even if Dominican Cheap Tours cancels its service portion. If we initiate the cancellation, we refund our service fee only.
• Beach clubs / Day passes: Third-party venue fees may be non-refundable per the venue's own policy.

5. Company-Initiated Cancellations

In the event Dominican Cheap Tours cancels a tour due to weather, safety, operational issues, or force majeure, affected customers will receive one of the following at their choice:

• A full refund of the amount paid to Dominican Cheap Tours (excluding non-refundable third-party fees), or
• A complimentary reschedule to the next available date.

We will notify affected customers via WhatsApp and/or email as soon as possible before the scheduled tour time.

6. Partial Completion of a Tour

If a tour begins but must be cut short due to circumstances outside Dominican Cheap Tours' control (e.g., sudden weather change, customer medical situation, park closure), no automatic refund is issued. Partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the Company's discretion.

7. Group Bookings (10+ Passengers)

For group reservations of 10 or more participants, a specific group cancellation policy may apply. Please contact us at the time of booking to discuss group terms. Standard individual terms apply unless a written group agreement is in place.

8. Refund Processing

• Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
• Refunds are returned to the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer).
• Dominican Cheap Tours does not charge any cancellation processing fee for eligible refunds.
• Actual credit posting time depends on your bank or payment provider and may take additional business days.
