Cruise Return Policy

Dominican Cheap Tours specializes in shore excursions for cruise passengers docking at Amber Cove and Taino Bay in Puerto Plata. We understand that missing your ship is the biggest concern for cruise guests on a shore excursion — which is why we have built our entire operational model around punctual, guaranteed returns.

1. Ship Return Guarantee

• All Dominican Cheap Tours shore excursions are designed to return to the cruise pier at least 60 minutes before ship departure.
• Our guides carry the official ship schedule and monitor departure times throughout the excursion.
• In the event of unexpected delays, our guides will prioritize returning you to the pier above all else.

2. What If You Miss Your Ship?

In the extremely rare event that a customer misses their ship departure due to a delay caused by Dominican Cheap Tours, we will:

• Cover the cost of transportation to the next port of call, or
• Cover accommodation and meals until the next available sailing arrangement is confirmed.
• Coordinate with cruise line emergency contacts on your behalf.

3. Customer Responsibilities

• Be at the pier exit / meeting point at the agreed departure time for your excursion.
• Carry your ship boarding pass and photo ID at all times.
• Notify your guide immediately if you become separated from the group.
• Do not deviate from the group itinerary without informing your guide.

4. Flight Monitoring

For cruise excursions, our operational team checks ship departure schedules before every tour. If your ship announces an early departure, we will be notified and will return you to the pier immediately.

5. Cancellation Policy for Shore Excursions

Shore excursions follow our standard cancellation policy:

• 24+ hours before port arrival: Full refund.
• Less than 24 hours before port arrival: Non-refundable.

In the event Dominican Cheap Tours must cancel a shore excursion (weather, safety, or port closure), affected customers receive a full refund.
